Two mountain lions died in separate incidents involving vehicles, within hours of each other. According to the CHP, the first happened on Wednesday evening at around 7:30 on Los Osos Valley Road. The second mountain was struck and killed on Highway 1 near the California Men’s Colony at around 7 a.m. yesterday. California Fish and Wildlife is investigating both incidents.
