Rumors that Cal Poly’s Office of University Diversity and Inclusion will be closing following President Trump’s executive orders targeting federal diversity, equity and inclusion programs seem to be unfounded. University officials say the DEI office is not closing, but some changes are on the way. They added that the office would be moved to a different division, a structure move that would be similar to other Cal State universities.
