Anyone who uses well water in the north county could soon be be paying for their water. According to the Tribune, farmers watering their crops to families washing dishes, anyone pumping water directly from the Paso Robles Groundwater Basin. Last Wednesday, the Paso Basin Cooperative Committee got a first look at the potential rates. If approved, it would be the first time farmers have been charged for using water from the Paso Robles Groundwater Basin.
