Grover Beach city officials are starting a fundraising campaign to help with a park improvement project. The Ramona Garden Park project would bring an amphitheater with a stage and bandshell, an event lawn, restrooms, walkways, benches, picnic tables, and an all-abilities playground. 90 percent of the funding would come from a $3.3 million dollar Community Development Block Grant. The remaining 10 percent would come from a donation program.
