A man was injured late last night during a shootout with San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s deputies. According to a press release, at around 10 p.m. deputies responded to a call regarding shots being fired in the area of Templeton High School. As they arrived, the man fired multiple shots at the first patrol vehicle to arrive. The unidentified man was struck by gunfire after a second patrol unit arrived. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment. No deputies were injured during the incident.
