Gas prices have been creeping up over the past month. Nationwide the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is 3.12 a gallon. Mississippi is reporting the cheapest gas at 2.68 a gallon. Hawaii has the most expensive gas at 4.54 and California is averaging 4.50 a gallon. In San Luis Obispo County its 4.70 a gallon and Santa Barbara County is reporting 4.53 a gallon.
