Yesterday’s crash on the Cuesta Grade brought traffic to a standstill and sent two people to the hospital. According to the CHP, one of the drivers was trying to make a left hand turn when he was hit by the southbound truck. the drivers of both pickup trucks needed to be extricated from their vehicles. Both suffered major injuries and were taken to Sierra Vista hospital for treatment. an investigation is ongoing.
