San Luis Obispo Police arrested a man early Friday morning on suspicion of carrying a concealed weapon. According to the department’s Facebook post, officers were sent to a report of a man possibly concealing a gun at the Royal Oak Best Western hotel on Madonna Road. When they arrived, officers made contact with 31-year-old Austin Hale. They found Hale concealing a sword under his clothing. The officers were pretty sure it was not Excalibur. He was also in possession of a knife and a controlled substance.
