A garage fire in Santa Maria landed two people in the hospital yesterday. The fire broke out yesterday morning on the 1300 block of Ronald Place. When firefighters arrived, they found the garage fully involved in flames. Officials say two people were taken to an area hospital for treatment of minor to moderate injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
