Santa Maria Police say an attempted murder suspect was arrested yesterday. 22-year-old Alexis Perez-Alcantar was suspected of assaulting several people with a knife and brandishing a firearm during a family dispute Sunday night. Authorities caught up with Perez-Alcantar yesterday afternoon. He held officers at-bay for for two and a half hours before surrendering. Bail was set at one million dollars.
