Former Cal Poly R.A. Headed To Prison

A former Cal Poly resident advisor is headed to prison. The San Luis Obispo County D.A.’s Office says 26-year-old Alexis Alejandro had been charged with burglary and assault last September. It was alleged that he had entered a female student’s dorm room using a master key accessible to Cal Poly R.A.s. When the victim awoke to find Alejandro inside her darkened dorm, she screamed. He covered her mouth to keep her quiet and fled. He later pled guilty to the charges and was sentenced yesterday to seven years and four months in state prison.
