NASA is putting the final touches on a mission that will map the Milky Way Galaxy. Officials say the two-year mission will include a telescope that can map entire sky in infrared. The mission will be taken into space aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base Friday February 28th. According to KSBY, another mission will be tagging along. The Punch Mission will observe the Sun. Cal Poly will host a free event this Sunday from 1-4 p.m. at the university’s Advanced Technologies Lab.
