The man accused of killing a migrant farmworker was in court yesterday. Prosecutors believe 28-year-old Fausto Ortega Maldonado stabbed 20-year-old Primitivo Pacheco Ortega in July. Maldonado, who is a convicted felon and is in the country illegally, pleaded not guilty to the murder charge against him. Investigators have not released a motive for the stabbing.
