Time To Start Saving Water

After a relatively dry rainy season, most of us have been expecting the recent report from the U.S Drought Monitor. That report says most of California is abnormally dry, including the Central Coast. We only have one more month of winter and no rain is currently in the forecast. Meanwhile, the San Luis Obispo County Public Works department says there are no immediate concerns. Reservoir levels are steady. Santa Maria Officials say the city has been conserving water since the last drought and their water supply is holding. Water officials say the time to start conservation measures is now.
