The City of Santa Maria’s curfew seems to be working. Police say, since the curfew went into effect, things have been fairly quiet and peaceful. The nightly curfew went into effect Monday evening following Sunday night’s rowdy protest. It will remain in effect until Monday the June 8th. Some residents were pleased with the results of the curfew and praised police for doing the best they can.
