Paul Flores, a person of interest in the disappearance of Kristin Smart was taken into custody yesterday. The L.A.P.D. says Flores was arrested in Rancho Palos Verdes at around 9:45 a.m. and booked on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm, which is a felony. He has a previous felony DUI Charge. SLO County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Tony Cipolla confirmed Flores’ arrest in a statement saying that “the arrest originated as a result of information obtained during our search warrants last year at the home of Paul Flores as part of the Kristin Smart investigation.”
