Grover Beach Police are trying to sort out the events that led to a woman being shot in the leg last night. Just after 6 o’clock, officers were sent to North 16th Street for a report of an “armed family disturbance with shots fired.” When they arrived, they found a woman outside the home. A male and female were still inside. About half an hour after setting up a perimeter around the home, a second female ran from the house with an apparent gunshot wound to her leg. 30 minutes later an unarmed man surrendered to police. The investigation is ongoing.
