A water main break in San Luis Obispo has about 200 households under a “boil water” notice. The break happened early yesterday morning. The city says the notice is being issued out of precaution. The affected area includes the Johnson neighborhood off of Ella Street. Notices were hand-delivered to affected residents. The boil water notice will be in effect until lab results confirm the water is safe.
