The wind-driven Alisal Fire has grown to 13,400 acres. Officials say the blaze is roughly five percent contained. A hard closure of the 101 in both directions is still in effect. Yesterday, ground crews got some help from the air, as winds died down enough to allow air tankers and helicopters to drop loads of retardant. More than 600 firefighters are currently battling the fire. So far there is no estimate on full containment. An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
