Firefighters on the Alisal Fire have made significant progress on the blaze. The wildfire had grown to more than 17,250 acres, but cooler weather conditions over the weekend helped crews gain ground on the flames. At last report, the Alisal Fire was 78 percent contained. The Santa Barbara County Office of Emergency Services announced that all evacuation orders had been lifted. Fire crews will now begin mop-up operations and fire suppression repair.
