An altercation left one man dead and another in jail over the weekend. San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s investigators say it started at a home in Oceano at around 1:45 Saturday morning. Witnesses say that’s when 27-year-old Angel Ramos-Ramirez stabbed 20-year-old Daniel Diaz. When deputies arrived, they found Diaz suffering from multiple stab wounds. He would die at the scene. Witnesses were able to identify Ramos-Ramirez as the suspect. He would later be picked up during a traffic stop near his Santa Maria home. According to a press release, there are no other suspects in the case.
