Santa Maria and Grover Beach Police Departments took delivery of a new piece of crime-fighting tech. Each received tactical robots during a presentation at the Santa Maria Police Department. The robots are designed to help keep distance between officers and a suspect, giving the officers more options to end a situation peacefully.
