An Oceano woman is facing four years in prison after being found guilty of assaulting a family member with hot bacon grease. Prosecutors say 61-year-old Terri Dee Boyd was cooking breakfast one morning in October, when she got into a fight with a female family member. During the fight, Boyd bit the victim then used a hot pan of bacon grease to burn a second victim’s face. She was found guilty of assault. A sentencing date has not been set.
