Testimony in the Kristin Smart murder trial continued yesterday. Jurors heard how investigators found trace evidence of possible human blood in a trailer at Ruben Flores’s home. According to testimony, the trailer belonged to the boyfriend of Ruben Flores’ ex-wife Susan. San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office forensic specialist Shelby Liddell said she had helped with two excavations under Flores’ deck. The trace blood evidence was found using a chemical that reacts to human blood. Testimony continues this morning.
