Santa Barbara County Fire firefighters made quick work of a brush fire yesterday. The fire was first reported at the Santa Ynez Valley Recycling and Transfer Station on Foxen Canyon Road just before 2:30. The flames from debris at the recycling station spread to some dry vegetation. Crews were able to keep the blaze contained at roughly three acres. the cause of the fire is under investigation.
