The San Luis Obispo County Government building has a new name. The San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors passed a resolution yesterday to rename the building. It will now be known as the Katcho Achadjian Government Center. Achadjian made San Luis Obispo County his home while attending Cuesta College in 1971. He served on the board beginning in 1998 before being elected to the State Assembly in 2010.
