A Lompoc man has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder. Investigators say Jorge Fernandez brutally gunned down 28-year-old Elyse Erwin, the mother of his daughter on Easter Sunday 2017. The two had been separated for years before the shooting. According to the Santa Barbara County D.A.’s office, Fernandez had engaged in relentless stalking activity. He’s expected to to be sentenced to 25 years to life in prison in February.
