The CHP will be stepping up patrols this holiday weekend. To help ensure everyone’s safety, extra officers will be on the highways looking for drivers who may be driving impaired, speeding, driving distracted, or without a seatbelt. The Maximum Enforcement Period will continue through the New Year’s weekend.
