The San Luis City Council will decide next week who will be the city’s next mayor. Council members are currently poring over 13 applications of people who have applied to lead the city of San Luis Obispo following the resignation of Heidi Harmon. All the applicants will have five minutes to tell the council why they should be the next mayor at next week’s council meeting. The Council decided to appoint a new mayor instead of holding a special election that could have cost the city 200,000 dollars.
