A San Luis Obispo man was sentenced yesterday for a home invasion robbery involving an elderly woman. 39-year-old Johnny Jesse Roman pleaded no contest to charges stemming from the February robbery. According to prosecutors, he broke into a 75-year-old woman’s home, tied her up, stole thousands of dollars in cash, and a car. He had two previous convictions for similar crimes, so under California’s three-strikes law, he’ll now spend 25-years to life in prison.
