Cal Fire firefighters battled a wind-whipped blaze at a strawberry field in Nipomo yesterday. According to their Twitter page, Cal Fire officials say the fire broke out at Cherry Blossom Place off Orchard Road just after 9 a.m… Winds fanned the flames that extensively damaged buildings and farm equipment. no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
