Santa Barbara County education leaders held a State of Education conference yesterday. The State of Education event included a panel of local high school districts, including Santa Maria, Orcutt, and Guadalupe. According to KSBY, one of the main topics of discussion was preparing students for careers right out of high school or college. The panel also talked about student mental wellness.
