A Santa Maria shooting suspect is in custody. On April 17th police responded to a report of a shooting in the area of McClelland and Mill Streets. Authorities identified 39-year-old Omar Guadalupe Torres as the suspect. He was found last week in Calexico and arrested. Torres is now in Santa Barbara County Jail in lieu of 2 million dollars bail. He’s facing several charges including a third strike.
