The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office released some details yesterday following last weekend’s search for 5-year-old Kyle Doan. He was swept away by floodwater six months ago. 330 search-and-rescue crew members searched a 6-mile-long section of the Salinas River. They found roughly 250 bones. Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson Tony Cipolla said most of the bones were animal. About seven bones were possible adult human bone fragments. The Sheriff’s Office said it will now determine the best steps moving forward in the search for Kyle.
