Five people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 166 east of Santa Maria yesterday. According Cal Fire, at least three vehicles were involved in the crash near the Twitchell Reservoir that brought Labor Day traffic to a stand-still. Five victims were taken to area hospitals for treatment. An investigation is ongoing.
