Forward progress of a vegetation fire in the Nojoqui Grade area has been stopped.
Santa Barbara County Firefighters attacked what’s being called the Grade Fire, on the ground and from the air Friday afternoon. Santa Barbara County Firefighters and crews from the Los Padres National Forest and Cal Fire San Luis Obispo received air support from 6 air tankers. Close to 100 acres were scorched in the blaze. The Cause of the fire is under investigation.
