The progress of a wildfire that broke out yesterday morning has been stopped. That’s the word from the U.S.Forest Service. The fire was first reported in an area on Los Padres National Forest land in rural San Luis Obispo County at around 10:50. Federal and State firefighting crews battled the flames just south of Pozo. By 5 p.m., the forward progress of the blaze had been stopped. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
