Two local hospitals are trying to get socks onto the feet of people in need. Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo and Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton have teamed up for “Socktober.” They are accepting all types of socks. Socks can be dropped off in the lobbies of both hospitals and will be distributed throughout the county.
