This week’s Lizzie Fire should serve as a reminder to be prepared in the event of a disaster. The 100 acre fire broke out Monday afternoon. Shortly after that, surrounding neighbor hoods were under evacuation orders. Some neighbors were unaware of new evacuation zones put in place by the SLO County Office of Emergency Services.
