A citizens group will take another run at ousting San Luis Obispo County Supervisor Bruce Gibson from office. The Committee to Support the Recall of Supervisor Bruce Gibson missed a critical deadline in its first attempt. Yesterday, the group filed a notice of intent claiming Gibson had “abused his authority as a supervisor” by mismanaging the county’s staff, violating California’s Brown Act on open meetings among other accusations. According to the Tribune, Gibson says he’ll focus on working on issues that are of actual importance to the county.
