A knife-wielding man robbed a bank in Santa Maria Monday morning. Investigators say the suspect forced his way into the Community West Bank on Betteravia at knife-point at around 8:15 a.m.. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was described as 5′-8″, heavy set, wearing a red and white plaid jacket and a surgical mask. He drove off in a grey 2015 Ford F150. Anyone with helpful information about this robbery is asked to contact the Santa Maria P.D..
