Another scam alert from the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities say the scammers call from a spoofed phone number that looks real on your caller I.D.. Then they tell you that you missed jury duty, adding that you can pay the fine using cryptocurrency. If you receive such a call, contact your local law enforcement.
