A small group of pro-Palestine protesters was arrested yesterday on the Cal Poly Campus. Cal Poly officials say a group of about 30 to 40 protesters gathered outside a career fair being held in the campus Rec Center. A smaller group tried to gain access to the event. Cal Poly Police warned them they would be arrested. The protesters became violent and tried to break into the event. Officers from the San Luis Obispo Police Department backed up Cal Poly’s police and eight people were taken into custody. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
