A local non-profit is making it easier for people with special needs to have access to local beaches. A program called Beach Mobility for All was started four years ago in Avila Beach and Morro Rock State Park. The program was started by Jack’s Helping Hand and grants from California Coastal Conservancy and the Christopher Reeve Foundation. There are a total of five beach-ready wheelchairs between the two locations. Reservations are required at Jacks helping hand dot org.
