Two men had to be rescued from their car in the San Marcos Creek yesterday morning. Their vehicle was swept off San Marcos Road at around 6:30. Cal Fire Officials say the men, apparently ignored the road-closed signs. Cal Fire crews were able to wade out to the men and walk them back to solid ground. The men were uninjured, but their car was a total loss. CAL FIRE reminds everyone to pay attention to road-closed signs and turn around once you see them.
