The Gap in the hotly contested race for San Luis Obispo County’s Board of Supervisors Fifth District seat was close — at first. Atascadero Mayor Heather Moreno had a lead of just 17 votes over Atascadero Mayor Pro Temp Susan Funk. At last count, Moreno was leading Funk with 53.9 percent of the votes.
