The San Luis Obispo man who pled guilty to gross vehicular manslaughter for the deaths of a San Luis Obispo couple and their dog in 2022 has been sentenced. Investigators say Daniel Saliganpatricio was driving 60 miles an hour in a 25-mile-an-hour zone when his car struck Jennifer Besser, Matthew Chachere, and their dog. Their bodies were found more than a day later. Saliganpatricio was sentenced to five years and four months in prison.
