A months-long investigation led to the arrest of a Tanglewood man. The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s began an attempted homicide investigation in January of last year. That’s when deputies answered a call regarding a woman being stabbed. Investigators quickly determined the victim’s boyfriend, 23-year-old Jesus Cuevas was their primary suspect. He was located last week in Reedley and is now back in the Santa Barbara County Northern Branch Jail in Santa Maria. The victim is still recovering from her injuries.
