Cal Fire SLO Firefighters battled a late-night hillside blaze last night. The fire broke out along Prefumo Canyon Road just outside the San Luis Obispo city limits. Just before midnight, the fire had scorched about 2 acres of grass. Fire crews had the forward progress of the flames halted at around 12:05 this morning. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
