Firefighters battling the Lake Fire are also battling long hours, rough terrain, and near triple-digit heat. The blaze has grown to more than 29,000 acres and is still 16 percent contained. Roughly 1500 people have been affected by either evacuation orders, or warnings. All evacuation orders are still in effect. According to the Cal Fire incident page, more than 3,000 men and women are fighting the Lake Fire, which is currently the largest wildfire burning in California.
